S-s-s-snow here today, but I still plan to walk across town at noon for a volunteer program that goes on my college record. I'm also snowed under with classwork. I hope to do some Deskercising throughout the day.

Goals:
100 granny push ups: 10
100 biceps curls: 20
50 push ups on the stairs: 10
50 triceps dips: 20

    Happy Weekend, Hollis-the-Warrior!

    I had a great day of eating because I tried this (silly) thing of one minute intervals between bites. I got tired and ate way less than I usually do at our family lunch today, and my tummy was happy for it.

    DH and I took DS 14 out with us on a 1 hr hike in the desert. Then this evening, DH and I took a hard 1/2 hr walk around the neighborhood.

    I have an article to write so I may not get anything else in today. But I'll probably stop back by here to cheer you on Hollis. You're really doing great!! Btw, I'm so glad for you that you lost that weight. You're so pretty in those pics, you must be stunning now. :)

    And how about those 1000 pushups from Sims the other day. Wow! 1000 of anything doesn't even register as a goal for me. ;)

    Happy weekend, Chani8 the chewing warrior! One minute intervals would make your lunch take forever! I understand that people who practice the macrobiotic diet chew each mouthful about 30 times, which is similar to what you're describing. They do it to slow down plus an enzyme in saliva takes the acidity out of the food....

    Your day of hiking with your family sounds lovely! That's the best way to live, go outside and take wonderful walks together to appreciate nature and each other.

    Yes, that sims is one incredible push up machine... I can't register 1000 push ups either.

    Back to my world history class and the ancient Aztecs. They certainly were a gory group.

    Just got back from Boston.. Snow, rain sleet..
    Did cardio kick and insanity this morning.... Nice job you 2

    Thanks to my daughter babysitting for me, DH and I got in a two hour hike out to the nearby crater (a mini grand canyon). All that fresh air and exercise. . . made me sleepy. But I cannot.take.a.nap. I don't think. Maybe a little one. ;) While the baby sleeps . . .

    Ok, got the nap. Whew.

    My goal for today is to get 14 minutes of hard core exercise, including:

    100 granny pushups

    Did Body pump 60 minutes
    Did spinning 60 minutes

    Got my 100 granny pushups but calling it a day. I didn't realize tomorrow was holiday for you. Have a fun time on your hike!
