I like this site, is there anyway to determine on the tracker the NET carbs rather than just carbs and then subtract the fiber myself ?

Is there a way to differentiate between sugar alcohol and sugars?

    Sugar alcohols are listed as such on nutritional information...if it's says "sugar", it's sugar. Some of the foods in the database have been put in with the fiber and sugar alcohols already subtracted, but I always check it against my food information on the package...if I can't find one that has already had it deducted, I create a new one and do it myself.

    I agree that it would be awesome to have Net Carbs field. But I don't think it has. So I have my carbs and fiber side by side to subtract each other.

    I did notice that many items in the food search does not have actual numbers. So I now make sure to get the accurate food results.
