Magic Monday

Today is a new week. So it's a fresh start.

I lost 5 Pds this week I know they say your first week is a big number but I'm hoping to keep a steady loss for a couple of weeks.

My goals this week.. Drink my water that is a hard one for me.
Do Jillian Michael 30 day shred 2nd week for this
Start my elliptical daily..
Keep journaling " with MFP it's a lot better" watch my food intake.

Have a good Monday everyone

Great job:smile: I'm off work today. Main goal for the week is still drink water and cut back on soda. Have done pretty good for the last week. Just need to remember water is better for me that sugar.

    great job!!

    my goals are:
reach my new minimum of steps daily (I raised my fitbit limit to 12,500 steps a day) preferably surpass it daily

eat less salt most days I am pretty good at this but I really need to get better at it

I was off today too, spent the day picking up around the house, unpacking from the weekend, doing laundry, running errands etc. Vac'd my car out when I got home.

It's so much easier for me to be consistent with my water and eating during the work week. For example I didn't eat breakfast until 10:30 so I didn't have lunch because it was so late by the time I got home. I decided to wait for my hubby to get home and just eat dinner.

I ordered my Fitbit yesterday! I can't wait to get it and do the Fitbit Challenge with everyone. Plus I'd like to see how many steps I take on a normal day.

Been thinking of getting a fitbit too. I'm looking at flex and force. I have an ipad2 so I'm doing research to see if I can sync it to the ipad into MFP..

One of the things I read about the trackers you wear on your wrist is they don't seem to be as accurate. If you "talk" with your hands or move your arms around a lot it gets counted as steps. That bummed me out bc I liked the idea of something I could wear on my wrist rather than clip on me somewhere.

    How does FITBIT work?

Here's a link to their site, they have a few different models...

I didn't buy mine there tho. I found a new Fitbit One on eBay for $67!
