Day 22 - 95 sit ups / 140 crunches / 55 leg raises / 85 second plank

Headed to the office early this morning. I will get these done this evening. I've noticed our numbers are going down. Please don't stop...let's finish this together. Do what you can do throughout the day. And you always have rest days to make up missed days.

Make it a great day!

I got them done before work. They are taking longer to get done. I agree, I would rather more of us hung in here and just did less. Truly five sets of planks is enough for most of us for an work. Or only do half. Just do not quit.

Everything is getting pushed to the afternoon/evening today since I have to prep for a Skype job interview. I have noticed though that getting through this challenge has been boosting my self-confidence that I can do anything if I set my mind to it. :) And it gives me mental quiet time while I focus on counting.

Day 22 done. It is taking longer now, approx. 15 mins for me by my stop watch. But I agree break them up however you have too, even if it takes all day. Do some in the morning, some later, some before bed. It doesn't matter when they are done just that you are doing them. Most trainers will tell you that short bursts of activity can actually produce better results for most people.

Hang in there. Only 5 days and 2 more rest days then we are DONE!

    WE CAN DO THIS!

I have well. I focus so much on the counting though that in the end, I realize that I've lost track of everything else. So it's a nice mental quiet time for me.

Completed today's challenge. I've been doing modifications on the planks as I build up my strength, and today I started alternating between knees and forearms up to full planks. I could feel the burn, but pushing up to a full plank and holding it for even 5-10 seconds at a time before going back to knee-planks. I'm also doing more in each starting set for the leg raises, crunches, and situps. Little improvements, but they are more than I thought I'd be doing at the start of the month. When I looked at the numbers towards the end of the month, I was definitely intimidated. So to be pushing through the numbers that I am now and the feeling that I will complete this challenge is a better reward than I could have ever thought of. Not to mention, I've also noticed that I'm holding my posture better, back tightness I've had is starting to lessen (Because I'm supporting myself through my abs and the posture improvements).

Now, my difficulty is trying to decide on a reward for the end of the month. I'm between a FitBit One or some Nike Studio Wraps. They are similarly priced, and either one would be something that I would thoroughly enjoy on my journey towards being healthy (I like being able to track what I'm all doing throughout the day and I'm planning on adding yoga next month and potentially a barre-type class in the future if I can locate one).

DoubleClick get the fitbit! :) I so am going to be getting one soon. I find that planks on my forearms and toes are harder for me. This is how I have been doing them. So glad you are doing this still.

Doubleclick...I have a Fitbit One and I love it! Fitbit has a wrist unit too, but I read that it counted arm movements. So if you talk with your hands...? I stick mine in my pocket, attach it to my pocket or waist band. It goes everywhere with me except sleeping. I don't need my Fitbit to tell me I get crappy sleep.

Today is my REST DAY...I'm still working on getting my 10,000 step in though.

    Everyone have a great Thursday!

Busy day yesterday...finally finished this morning! And yes they are getting harder and taking longer but the satisfaction when complete is great.
