Question calculating my TDEE

I am unsure if I am "lightly" active or "moderately" active when trying to calculate my TDEE. I currently do a Jillian Michael's dvd 6 days a week that is 20-30 minutes (plus warm-up ad cool down, but the most activity is 20-30 minutes). These workouts are dumbbells and cardio. Otherwise I work a desk job 8:30-5:00.

Would that be lightly active? It's 6 days of the week, but it's not some high-powered, long workout either. I burn between 200-300 calories typically.

Thanks for the help!

That sounds like moderately active to me. I lift three days a week and am almost sedentary the other four, so I've put myself down as "lightly active;" you work up a good sweat everyday, so you're burning much more than I am!

    Cheers

Agree, the better TDEE sites mention hours per week, because days is just plain stupid, 3 days a week but running for 3 hrs each day would be a far cry from 3 days with 30 min walk.
Then again, 1 hr of walking is not the same as 1 hr of running as 1 hr of lifting.

So I guess I am lightly active then. I read your posts and figured about 1.375, and after the math with a 15% cut leaving me 1685. I think tonight, though, I will take the time to measure and fill out your spreadsheet. Thanks for the help all!
