Fatigue question

I have just completed my first week of Stage one. I was feeling tired yesterday even after sleeping for ten hours so I increased my calories by about 200. By yesterday afternoon I was feeling better. Now this morning (after sleeping for my normal eight hours and feeling good) I ate about three hundred calories and then did Stage one, workout A. I was so tired I had to go back to bed and nap for thirty minutes. Has anyone else gone through this and does it go away as the body adapts? I don't find the work out terribly difficult or time consuming, but I must be getting something done or I wouldn't feel this tired. I don't like the idea of going to bed earlier in order to wake up early enough to get in nap before going to work.

How is your nutrition? Maybe you are lacking something.
I can't help much since workouts wake me up and I somewhat suffer insomnia. Good luck!0 -
Thank you for the reply. Yesterday I re-read chapter 12, "Extra Stuff You Can Do". It talks about recovery and why it's so important. Now I feel better about the sleep, I think the work out is taxing my body and I need the extra calories and sleep to recover. Yay, I must be doing something right! It's also January in America, so the light deprivation makes it easier to sleep longer, so it could just be a coincidence. I will keep at it and hopefully I will improve enough that my energy will match the work out.0
