This board has been quiet for some time. Let's talk! What have y'all been working on? I've been working on drafting my own pattern for a peasant-style shirt.

    I'm eagerly waiting for Christmas morning so I can open my new sewing machine.. I've been using a very old one, a Singer from the 40's that I bought at an estate sale. I got a Pfaff, I can't wait to get it open and start using it. My first project is going to be the tiny squares quilt from purl soho. I'm also working on the cozy corner knitted blanket, i'm working on two of these actually. And I'm knitting a slouch hat for a christmas present.

    What type of sewing machine did you get and did you finish your project. I have a 10 needle embroidery machine and plan on trying to learn to use it
