I tried the wraps that are like ace bandages and didn't like them for various reasons. So I picked up a pair of these:

Rehband 7mm Knee Sleeve

Awesome! The warmth they provide really helps my knees and the stability helps, too. After a heavy squat session, the knees feel great. Not sure I can lift any more with them, don't care. The warmth is magical.

And today I slipped them on my elbows for bench day. I was getting some very slight tendonitis in my elbows and thought the extra warmth might help. Again, awesome! They were too big to provide any support, but they kept my elbows toasty and that felt nice.

They are legal for squats, not legal on the elbows for bench (nothing is legal on the elbows for bench). But for workouts, they are magic.

These were just recommended to me and I'll be ordering them soon. Where did you buy yours, Mr. *kitten*?

Amazon. I took the advice of all the reviews and ordered one size smaller and it fits perfect.

SInce the sleeve type don't seem to improve 1RM, if I ever compete I might think about using the ace bandage type because they can be wrapped very tight and do help with rebound. Just a PITA to use for regular workouts.

I thought about getting these sleeves too. They're a bit dearer here in the UK at £60 for the pair, which is $100! Thanks for the recommendations, will start to save a littler on groceries for these.
