Hey everyone,

I hope that everyone is having a good day. I have a question about daily calories. I've tended towards being slightly under my calories for the last two weeks (they being the first two weeks of this "diet"). Moving into this as a regular part of life vs. the first fun weeks ;) I notice most people are under their calories and I am trying to figure out what I should do. I am measuring 90% of what I consume other than veggies. I was thinking a 10% under would allow for miscalculations in total calories for food that wasn't proper ly calculated and or estimated. Any thoughts from the vetens out there?

Thanks,

Sarah

I don't really worry about being under calorie, in the general forums there's a lot of talk about starvation mode but I'm just not convinced that's a problem. I eat higher fat and protein and lower carb, I rarely feel hungry or deprived. I'm not going to make myself eat more if I"m not hungry, but that's just me!

Thanks I've not been hungry as of yet since I'm chowing down on a lot of veggies but I expect as I continue I'm going to want a piece of cheese or something else similar. Also planning on getting my act together for some regular exercise (I've been letting snowy streets be an excuse) so if I aim for the total all should be fine. Thanks or your reply. Hoping you are having a good day.

i listen to my body when im hungry i eat.. when im not i dont. i eat until im comfortable not stuffed.. your body will let you know.
veggies are nutrient dense so they will keep you fuller longer.
