Week 3 Day 3 makes me angry!

I am at a point where I am doing Week 3 Day 3 and the running is just killing me! I get so irrationally mad when it keeps on going and doesn't tell me to start walking. Anyone else have this hard of a time at this point? I've repeated W3D3 two times already and plan to repeat again (maybe many times?). I am running at a slow pace... first time 4.7mph and second and third time 4.8mph. I have energy to walk another mile or two after the program ends, it's just the runs are SO difficult for me.

I've just finished W3D3 and it has taken me close to a month due to set backs from a injury!
What is it that makes you want to stop? Breathing, tired legs, etc? I used to get horrible stitches which I sorted by concentrating on my breathing the whole time and improved dramatically between w3d1 and w3d2.
Just remember not to over exert yourself. If it takes you another week, so be it. You will still get there and be running for 30 mins straight soon0 -

The programme I used had the same session three times in week 3, 90sec run, 90sec walk, 180sec run, 180 sec walk repeated three times. So this would be the first time that you've gone beyond 90 seconds.
What I found more frustrating was that the three minute walk felt far too long, rather than the running portion.
What I've said to others is that running is about the mental game as much as the physical. More people find the jump to an 8 minute run, or the move to 20 minutes the point at which their mental game really has to pick up the pace. For me it was the 20 minute session that seemed quite intimidating, until I started it.
fwiw I'd suggest moving on if you've already repeated the week once. You're probably physically ready to move on, it's about your ability to adress the mental game, and if you get stuck in a rut now you've got nowhere to go next time you face a challenge.0 -
I'm doing a 5k training plan that promises me a 32:30 minute 5k. I've done a half marathon. My training plan is having me run for 40 minutes at a 4.4 pace, which I am doing. I think you probably need to slow down some more.0
