Changing A Goal?

My first weigh-in I was 155 and my goal for St.Patty's day 135, I'm thinking now that may have been too aggressive!
My second week weigh-in was a little rough because I changed my daily cal intake and my exercise routine but I'm back on track now. CW:152
Do you think there's any shame in changing my goal weight to 140 or even 145? I'm not totally ditching the goal to be 135, but maybe not until V-Day or something? Does this mean I've somehow failed at achieving my goal? Is anyone else reassessing since we have started this challenge?
That's a lot of questions so if anyone has input on any of them that'd be great, thanks in advance!

My opinion (and it's just that, my opinion) I would keep your original goal, even if it's too aggressive. I am thinking that my St Patty's goal may be a little aggressive too, but I am sticking with it!!! Personally, I would rather have an aggressive goal to strive toward even if I fall short. I'm not going to give up on myself or my goal that is still six weeks or so away. A goal is not a be all, end all; it's something to work toward. If you ease up on the goal, aren't you essentially allowing yourself to ease up on your effort?
If I do fall short my goal, I'll know next time to not start off so aggressively, yet still be sure to challenge myself. But whatever goal I start with, I will strive to reach it!!
Good luck with whatever you decide!!!0
