I have been placed back on lithium and not surprised by the weight gain. I just wish taking the lithium was worth it.0 -

I've gotten into weight lifting and exercise challenges lately and wonder if "fat turning into heavier muscle" has happened. Definitely feel more toned (or is that just muscle soreness :laugh: ).

I'm not surprised. The BF and I celebrated our anniversary Thursday and we had pizza on Friday, so combining that with the fact that mother nature and I are not getting along and I'm just a big old bloated ball right now. I'm hoping to see a significant drop by next weekend though.

Oops, forgot to update this last week! I was a bit sick earlier this week so that likely contributed to my weight loss this week, but hey - I'll take it! Doesn't look like I'll be hitting my goal for this month but I'm totally ok with that and am so happy with how this month has gone so far! I bought smaller pants and not much feels better than that.

Malia - Great idea NOT weighing if you don't feel happy about it. No use piling on mentally. We want happy folks, because my research finds happy people lose more weight. (OK, I'm not a researcher and I didn't really stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either, but I believe it to be true!)0 -

Great job of losing weight while away on a trip. I usually put on several pounds when traveling. It’s all those restaurant meals.

Whew, turned it around. I think partly the gain was due to my lymphedema. My right leg was a lot more swollen than usual, but today it looks like it has gone down quite a bit, I knew it wasn't just over-eating as like I said, I didn't consume enough calories for that amount of gain! I don't think I will reach 226 though, but as long as I end the month lower than I started I will be happy.0 -
