I usually cook two new recipes over the weekend to have for lunches and made nothing this weekend, nothing appealed to me. I'm thinking about making rogan josh and . . .

What's been rocking your paleo world lately? Nothing with eggs please.

Oh, that spicy sticky chicken looks good, thank you. I know the key is to be prepared!

I did bacon wrapped chicken breast last week that was quite a hit. I used this recipe as a base - http://www.easypaleo.com/2012/01/20/food-diary-bacon-wrapped-chicken/ - but since I don't keep red wine around (but had red wine vinegar, which did well), and had different seasonings, mine was slightly different. You pretty much can't go wrong, though, with bacon-wrapped and any kind of chicken-friendly seasoning blend.

Then, just pair it with your favorite veggies, and you're good to go. We did steamed broccoli and green beans.

I don't have recipes. I just throw things together but I did buy some new components that let me put together new meals.

    whole30 compliant:
    Corizo
    pre-seasoned chichen burger patties
    salmon fillet
    delicata squash (disappointing though)
ground beef and cabbage for some sort of asian inspired dish

I am still on whole30 so I haven't been able to have any bacon yet :-(

ETA: I also made some whole30 ketchup! Made my baked sweet potato fries and chicken burger SO good!

Roasted brussel sprouts for breakfast (I had them with a fried egg*)

Got a spaghetti squash a couple weeks ago and that was nice for a change.

And I've been making something similar to this...with a pinch of chili powder and cumin.

I pulse half of my squash in the food processor then leave the other half in chunks. Oh and I roast a whole bird and just pick the meat from that and I add a lot more squash (or I've subbed sweet potato, which isn't as good but decent.)

And this soup is AMAZING....I could eat the whole pot.

Just had it for lunch, SUPER good. Make sure you use chicken thighs and not breasts.

Oh fiddlesticks, I forgot to mention for the Caveman Ham Hock soup I used a butternut squash instead of pumpkin and it was divine.

    My fault! :blushing:

You could probably use a sweet potato too. Are rutabaga are a little sweeter than a turnip right? I think that would work since that soup is like a nice mingle of sweet and salty.

I am somehow not sick of eggs but I can understand how someone could be! I have been really enjoying eating zucchini noodles with meat marinara sauce for dinner.. I bought a cheap vegetable peeler for the zucchini and my husband and I both LOVE it as a replacement for pasta.
Other stuff I love- cobb salad (without bleu cheese if you don't do dairy), roasted cauliflower (or just a bunch of roasted vegetables!), proscuitto wrapped asparagus, rotisserie chicken, smoked pulled pork, made this barbacoa last week and it was fantastic: http://www.againstallgrain.com/2013/06/14/chipotle-barbacoa-tacos/
I made the domestic man's grain-free pizza as a treat friday night, and you can definitely find more great recipes on his site.
    Good luck!

Such great ideas! I made the ham soup, and used potatoes (bad me!) and it's delicious. I went heavy on the garlic and cayenne and it made a TON. I'm hoping we get sent home early tomorrow so I can make the chicken (I got everything for it). And have a huge steak to grill up for steak salads. I needed to add different textures in for sure.

Sadly, I hate eggs and have my whole life. I keep trying to eat them on paleo though, it would be so nice to have omelettes!

Thanks for all the good ideas!

Lately all I want is meatballs or wings, LOL. I get gluten-free meatballs at Sams Club and throw them in the crockpot with organic sauce. Or I bake chicken wings with different sauces. Yum.

If you like wings this (below) is the best technique I've made so far

    http://www.preppypaleo.com/2013/10/crispy-paleo-chicken-wings-recipe.html

I never knew about the boiling part but it really is the trick!
