I'm just curious to see how many calories you typically eat in a day. you can list age, weight, calories and activity levels that would be great.

Thanx!!!

I think the real question is, do we count our calories. And yes, I do count them, fairly carefully.

But if you really want to know, I am 5'2", 44yo, sedentary, at goal weight (maintenance). I eat around 1200-1400 cals during the week, and 1600-2000 on Fri and Sat.

I do primal style exercise, meaning I workout in short spurts throughout the day, doing calisthenics and weight lifting. I do very little cardio, usually just walking or hiking, preferably with a backpack.

I'm 41, 5'6, 164 pounds. I eat around 1600 and as much as 2000-2400 occasionally. I have a sedentary job but I burn way more calories in my daily activity than what MFP estimates. I walk exclusively at this time of year, haul groceries on a sled, shovel snow, play with child/dogs, run up and down stairs numerous times per day. So, sedentary but not vegetative.

I am trying to gain muscle mass and I'm at 2300 calories/daily right now. Not gaining super fast so I'm thinking of bumping my intake to 2400 and then take it from there.
I have a desk job. I lift (heavy) weights 4x a week and no cardio (for now; loving it). Except a few cross country skiing sessions during winter.

I was at 1800 calories and losing not so long ago, but I was also training 4-5x a time + 5x30 minutes of cardio weekly. It was too much.
