Hi all!! I'm flying to florida on Saturday for a week vacation. Of course I know there will be a lot of challenges with eating out, and staying on schedule, but does anyone have any tips/tricks for me that might make it a little easier, PLEASE!!??
Also, should I take my scale? How would I take it, would it be allowed in my carry-on? It's a glass, digital scale and I'm afraid it would get broke in my checked bag.
Any help would be great!! Thank you so much!!

I went to FL for a week the beginning of January and didn't do too bad! I'd say don't take the scale, but do take all your good habits that you've built. Hoping you like seafood... I found a lot of good choices. Also, I had brought some packets of protein powder and protein bars with me so I could start the day out right, or have something if the day got too long between planned mealtimes. I have to be careful not to let myself get too hungry... that's when I make bad choices or eat too fast. We had some more wine nights than I have been used to, so I just planned for the calories and chose to go slow and make sure to have a glass of water for each glass of wine. The other bit was the time to relax and get a lot of walking in. Overall, enjoy your vacation... you deserve it!0

I wouldn't take the scale...after all you've got to lighten your stress as well as your body. Walks on the beach, swimming, and seafood! Lots of lean protein to be had. Enjoy!0

Don't take the scale. In addition to outright breaking, it probably would mess up the calibration.
Do try to make good food choices and listen to when you are full. Especially in restaurants where they always serve too much, it is easy to overeat. Order off the small plates menu or split your meal with someone else. And definitely keep some protein bars/powder in reserve. If you've got a fridge where you're staying yogurt is another good reserve option.
Most of all, enjoy your vacation!0
