    ^niiiice! :glasses:

Laura, congrats on the 10mi!!!! That took some will power! I'm hoping to be right behind you in a few weeks(or months?).

Donna, I had to look up flyball. How cool! Any dog who gets to do that must be a very lucky and very HAPPY dog!

Dh & kids are going to their greatgrandmothers and I think I'll hit the gym...unless I get out there and decide to run instead. Sometimes I never know until I do or do not make the turn for the gym.

Sherry enjoy whatever workout you choose to do!

My workout today is at the gym, which is good because after one warmer day yesterday ("warmer" being 12F) it's back to being cold again today. Jason gave me some strength homework and then wants me to get on the spin bike for 25-35 minutes. I don't generally love the bike, but after my run yesterday I'm actually not that sad about having a workout where I get to sit down.

Thought about it, and although the weather was nice, I knew the gym would be relatively empty on a Sunday and chose the gym. Ran there, did upper body workout, and ran back. It was soooo nice being in such a relatively empty gym. Good workout.

Laura, I used to /only/ want to do the cycle for precisely the reason that it was a sit-down exercise and I've always been really lazy. haha. But at least you totally *earn* your sit-down exercise! You are a real trooper with your trainer. I think I wouldn't last a week with someone telling me what to do and giving me !homework!?!?! lol

Empty gyms are the best. I do like my Sunday late afternoon workouts because I almost never have to share the equipment. It's getting close to 4:00 now so I should get changed & head out soon for my workout. Every day we're gaining daylight and I'm pleasantly surprised by how bright it still is at 4:00.

Truthfully Sherry I LOVE having someone tell me what to do. He figures out what I should be doing and how much and how long and how heavy and when I'm working out with him he even does all the counting. Okay usually (sometimes he's really off-LOL). He does all the hard stuff - I just have to follow instructions. Plus he keeps me company and cheers me on or bullies me when I'm feeling lazy. The homework isn't quite as much fun because *yawn* I'm there by myself, but I have a sheet telling me exactly what to do & then I rely on a good playlist to keep me moving. Even when I'm there alone, after a year with Jason I know what he would be saying and his voice is in my head going "Just two more" or "You can do this" or "Be a machine and knock these out without stopping." And I do it because tomorrow he's going to ask how my workouts went this weekend and I don't want to let him down. He took the time to come up with a plan for me, I'm not going to waste it by not following through.

Marla we got a lot of snow in December but then it got really cold here very end of December and has been too cold to snow heavily ever since. Most of the big storms moving through the US over the past month have missed us to the south. We got 40" in December but just another 20" in January (we're at 60.6" for the season), and that was in a series of smaller clippers.
