So i joined this group a few days ago and loved the description as it is everything i want and need to do. I would love tips and advice on what i need to do.

I've just completed the 30 day shred,so have the hand weights, but did find some exercises a little strenuous on the knees. Jillian was great at explaining adaptations to help with the pressure on the knees. I do have an appointment to see my doctor on this matter, but my knees get very tight sometimes, they click a lot when i bend and sometimes they hurt a little. It never stops me though.

I will be back out running when the weather picks up and the nights are lighter, but for now i am at home with my weights and 4 of Jillian Michaels DVD's : Banish fat, boost metabolism, No more trouble zones, 30 day shred and six week six pack. Am i heading in the right direction? Otherwise please feel free to give hints and tips on how i can lift my bum, slim down and tone my thighs and banish those love handles. I know i cannot be zone specific, but advice on what can help matters would be great. I need to zap this fat too!

I am going to be in a bikini on May 1st, so i'm on a schedule here. HELP!!

Well, I think your excitement is great. I do have one thing to say about your knees. If they hurt now and you can hear clicking I would see a doctor before running too much. Running puts 4X your body weight on impact to your knees so if they are having issues now they probably really will have issues if you start to run a lot..

I have very bad knees - well one bad knee because one has been replaced, and my concern with my knees started with clicking. At first I thought it was just funny, but my knees just got worse (the clicking turned out to be a torn meniscus). Now, they got worse over years, not weeks or months, but I would consult with your doctor next time you see him/her. The best thing for knees though is getting strong quads, strong hamstrings, stretching the legs, and losing weight! Keep them moving, too, that helps the stiffness.

Have fun and don't lose your enthusiasm.
