Attempting Insanity...again: Fit Test #1

This isn't my first time attempting Insanity. The last time I attempted it, I only reached week 2 and I had to stop because my shins were absolutely killing me and it wasn't just something I could work through either. It didn't recover for almost a month. However, I think it was because I was too heavy but now I've lost some weight and have gone to the gym, I'm ready to try it again.

I can't do push-up jacks whatsoever and I didn't exactly want to skip it so I used an alternative and did push-ups instead. Here is the figures I have to beat:

Switch Kicks- 108
Power Jacks- 45
Power Knees- 60
Power Jumps- 19
Globe Jumps- 9
Suicide Jumps- 6
Push-up Jacks- 0 (Alternative: Standard Push-ups- 20)
Low Plank Obliques- 42

Can someone tell me if this is a good result or a bad one?

Thanks!

The results are based on your starting fitness everyone's results are different depending on where you are fitness wise. Ive completed it twice and had two different starting bases, just keep going and see what your final fit test says that it when you'll see how much you have improved on the programme.

Those are good numbers, especially globe jumps. I think I got about 5 or 6 of those in on my first try. The most important thing is you will see your own improvement at each fit test. Good luck!

    Great job on this!

Just curious, why can't you do a push-up jack? Is it just the form, or is it strength? I'm just wondering.

Kind of form, I guess. It's not that I can't do it physically because I can but my right ankle kills when I attempt it and rather than sacrifice form or do nothing, I substitute it for push-ups instead. I thought my ankle is fully healed but I don't think it's 100% still. In saying that though, push-ups are not a problem so I just substitute them instead.
