color wars

Okay guys. I talked to Jeff, our fitness director, and he told me that we are not allowed to hold back our numbers until Sunday. He thinks it's all in good fun, but I guess he has gotten several emails from other teams that are really upset about this. So go ahead and start writing in your squats for this week so far. HOWEVER, I was talking with Sandy and Lori tonight and Sandy came up with a devious plan! Write down your numbers each day, but leave out 50 or 100 squats each time. Then on Sunday you can add the numbers that you left off during the week to your Sunday squat total. If you are not going to come in on Sunday, just text, or email me your "extra" numbers. That way we are writing down numbers each day, just not the exact count. Let me know if this makes sense or not. I don't see anything wrong with a little friendly competition, but since other people seem to be upset over this, we will do it this way instead! Great idea Sandy!

On another note, everyone is doing a fantastic job. This seems to be about the point in the program where some of you may start feeling frustrated or discouraged. Please come talk to me if that is the case. Some of you already have. Please don't get discouraged. ALL of you are doing a great job and I see you all making great efforts to work towards your goals. Please use me as a resource if you feel stuck and need a little bit more help. I am willing to sit down and talk with each of you individually if needed to see what we can do to tweak your workouts or calorie intake if needed.

Also, don't kill yourselves over the color wars. I love that all of you are working so hard to get tons of squats in, but don't make that your only focus all week long. It's okay to do other things as well.

Keep up the great work! I will see you all on Saturday. Let me know if you aren't going to be at the challenge this week! GO YELLOW! WE ROCK!!!!
