Welcome Challengers! Have you heard the saying "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym"? Well that's not entirely the truth...BUT if you ever want to see those ab muscles you work so hard in class to strengthen and tone, then what you eat is EXTREMELY important! For most of us, this isn't about having a 6 pack or looking great in a bikini...it's about feeling good, confidant, and healthy. I'm hoping this group will help us motivate each other and be accountable over the next 8 weeks....and maybe even after.
Over the next 8 weeks we will all log our food intake and exercise. We will be able to see what everyone else is eating (and drinking), and how much physical activity we are getting. Get ideas and recipes from each other, try something you've never tried before. Out of the 168 hours in a week, you spend probably between 1 and 5 of them working out....what happens the other 163 hours makes a HUGE impact on our weight loss and fitness goals. That is why we started this part of the challenge, just for you.
Your challenge today is to poke around. Get used to this program, explore it's options, and download the mobile app if you choose to. Start logging what you eat...I mean EVERYTHING. Log your exercise as well (it gives you extra calories to eat for the day if you do)!
