Horizontal Wood Chop

Options
Hi

I'm new on the forum, nearing the end of stage 1. I'm just looking ahead to stage 2 and trying to work out how I can do it in my fairly small gym at work. There is all in one cable machine with 3 stations and one has a static place at about shoulder height where i could attach a handle for the horizontal wood chop. However, I think this is a bit high and its not one of those that can be moved up and down and there are no boxes/step to stand on. Am I likely to do myself some damage trying to do it with the cable too high or will it be ok? Would I be better using the floor level one and doing a up and down type chop instead? There aren't any trainers as its a small staff gym and I don't want to approach the mansplainers that work out there because I'm not convinced they know anything about good form etc anyway ;-)
