Hello!
tom today. ugh. Got a late start to the gym and only ran from the bus stop to the gym for a warm-up (5min)--walked & bussed the rest of the time. Did chest, shoulders, & arms. Some things are really improving and I am definitely getting stronger. Other things notsomuch & are tricky because of the imbalance between my left and right side. Patience. patience.
Anyway, today is National Meat-Eating Day. haha, not really, but that's what I call it. It's the day before the fasting period begins and so everyone eats meat. All the souvlaki places have people standing around eating wraps and there are even people dragging mini-grills onto the sidewalk to grill souvlaki sticks. You could smell it everywhere. mmmm. So, we just had some ourselves. yum yum. Best.Holiday.Ever. :drinker:

There should totally be a national meat eating day. Or an international meat eating day. Yum.
I've got a session scheduled with Jason after work, but it remains to be seen if the storm messes that up. I'm keeping my eye on the radar - the storm is just moving into the area (it's snowing now where I live but not yet where I work), and it's huge.0 -
Ok, finally went to doc yesterday, I messed up some tendons in my toe but she encouraged me with shoes on to go back to exercise, she said that because my nia class is done barefoot.
So....drumroll please......I did class this morning, sweat and all!!
Felt great and doc kicked my butt off the couch and told me to get on elliptical machine and start snow shoeing.
So now I get to enter physical life again?
Only thing I didn't do was when we did floor exercises last ten min, I didn't bend my toes to do plank, I stretched instead on knees with one arm and leg out.
So back to life ho! :laugh:0 -
Sorry things were a bit chaotic for you this morning, Sherry, but glad that you got through the gym routine and meat day sounds good to me, too!

Today I had work, then water aerobics and got in a swim prior to the class start, and then a quick shower, grabbed Fells, and we were off to flyball practice. Ready to sleep, now!0
