Hey. I'm working through the Convict Conditioning progressions.

I'd find it helpful to post/get feedback on my progress. Currently I track my current state using the CC iPhone app.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/convict-conditioning-rep-tracker/id506168316?mt=8

It's pretty basic and doesn't provide history or anything. It shows the standards for each progression, where you are in the standard, the number of your last sets/reps and suggested sets/reps for the next workout.

Pushups
Step 1 - Complete
Step 2 (Incline Pushups) - Intermediate Standard

Pull ups
Step 1 (Vertical Pulls) - Complete
Step 2 (Horizontal Pulls) - Haven't yet met the Beginner Standard...if anybody has advice...?

Legs
Step 1 (Knee Tucks) - Intermediate Standard

Bridges
Step 1 - Complete
Step 2 (Straight Bridges) - Beginner Standard

Squats
Step 1 (Shoulder Stand Squats) - Intermediate Standard

Handstands
Step 1 (Wall Headstand) - Intermediate Standard

  • What's the Horizontal Pull-ups? Front levers + pull-up?

LOL. Not quite. I'm still working toward doing a pull-up (that's Step 5).

Essentially, you lay on the ground under a horizontal bar. You grip the bar shoulder width apart and pull your body up so that your body is in a straight line with your weight supported by your heels (on the floor) and your hands (gripping the bar). Then you pull yourself up until your chest touches the table.
  • Ahh, the Australian Pull-ups? Now I got it, ahah..

Thank you! I looked up Al Kavaldo's page on that. Very helpful.
  • Yeah, I look up his videos and articles all the time. Keep it up!
