Weigh ins and meal timing

I am interested in the CT Army's input.

1. What time do you stop eating?
1a. How frequently do you eat?
1b. Do you eat meals or snack?
2. Do you find better results when you weigh in the morning, mid-day or at night?
3. Do you check your weight mid-day?
4. Is there an optimal time to weight in?
5. What affect does meal timing have on the time you weigh in?
6. Could eating too late or sleeping too little affect the scale?
7. Does it matter what time you weigh in as long as you do it the same time everyday?

    1. What time do you stop eating?
7:30 pm at the latest... Usually my evening protein shake.

1a. How frequently do you eat?
2 protein shakes and 2 meals

1b. Do you eat meals or snack?
I prefer a couple of small meals throughout the day and some healthy snacks in between. Keeps me from munching or craving things I don't need or haven't prepped for.

    2. Do you find better results when you weigh in the morning, mid-day or at night?
It has helped me look at my weight at night as well as in the morning. I can see how when I eat later, it affects the weigh ins. Even in the morning.

    3. Do you check your weight mid-day?
    Nope

    4. Is there an optimal time to weight in?
I generally weigh in the morning as soon as I wake up, fasted, and after I have used the restroom.
In the evening it is generally 2 to 3 hours after my last meal and after I have used the restroom.

    5. What affect does meal timing have on the time you weigh in?
I find that for me personally, the consistency of eating and weighing in at scheduled times each day, have reinforced healthier habits. Again, my evening weigh in is at least 2 hours after I have had my last meal.

    6. Could eating too late or sleeping too little affect the scale?
I think we have found that this may have some truth in it for me. I'm not sure that I have the knowledge to speak of this impact on others.

    7. Does it matter what time you weigh in as long as you do it the same time everyday?
I think first thing in the morning while you are in a fasted state, after you use the restroom is the most ideal time to weigh in. There are many factors throughout the day that may cause your weigh in's to not be as accurate. Again this is more for my preference. I'm not sure if I have enough knowledge to speak how this may affect others.
