Explain BED to people

Do you tell people about your BED? I do. I regularly and openly share my history of Bulimia, my life-long depression (not suicidal) and BED that has raised its head again.
I hope you do the same. On MPF, in real life, with family and with friends.
I really like this article - clear, to the point, including a section on how one can help someone with BED.

Lots of time people think "binge = eat too much", just a matter of self control. Those with BED knows it is far, far deeper and serious than that.
I hope this helps in case you need to explain your condition to someone.
