Paleo Diet Recipies

Hi there everyone!

I went over to my "in laws" yesterday for supper and since one family member is gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and allergic to nuts (yikes!) she's gotten into a lot of Paleo Diet cooking.

Just wondering if anyone on here has done the same? Used Paleo Diet Recipes that is. I could see it coming together hand in hand with Phases 1&2 of Ideal Protein. (veggie & meat wise that is)

If so, any suggestions? Any thoughts?

    I'm not entirely sure what Paleo entails. My daughter follows the Vegan Before 6:00 (VB6) plan and loves it - basically eat vegan before 6:00pm, then eat a normal amount of meat if you want with your dinner. Her cholesterol improved greatly in just one month and she finds it easy to do.

    I am love paleo for maintaining my weight. For rapid weight loss, and ketosis, I have experienced that paleo is too high in fat and oils to get my weight loss goal and not compatible with the Ideal Protein protocol. I am close to my goal weight and am anxiously waiting to
    return to paleo.

    I have a hard time with many paleo recipes because they are so coconut oil/flour/milk heavy and my husband is allergic to coconut. I try not to bring any of his allergens into the house because I just know one of these days I'm going to make something for me, he won't know it's got an allergen in it and eat it.

    However, the thing where you bake the egg in a muffin pan with turkey bacon as your "muffin wrapper" is freaking amazing.
