Bit confused advice needed

Hi All,
Trying to refocus by doing iifym and eating macros only but think I may have got a bit confused trying to work out my macros via the online calculators any advice would be greatly appreciated
In a nutshell I'm sat wondering whether I can eat some of my exercise calories back I'm feeling a bit wobbly after the gym and would normally have a protein shake to help settle me over night but it would take me over my calculated macros by about 200kcal
My question is do we remain rigid or is it ok to go over by about 20% even if with the exercise calories it keeps you under your suggested macros
If it helps I'm around 230lbs (was a lot heavier) male, 38 and stand at 5ft 6 n a half in my socks

I say go ahead and eat if you are hungry. Generally the protein and fat grams are minimums any way. It's really about the long term trends imo and you're only going to run into problems if you aren't eating at a deficit over time.0
