104 RX. Not a crossfitter, and done after 5x3@100kg squats. Happy with that. I was on course to get a really strong score until 7 minutes, when suddenly I hit a huge wall.
That last bit sums up Crossfit in a nutshell.0 -
81. Really felt like *kitten* today but went ahead and did it anyway. I know I could probably get through that last box jump round if I tried again but I doubt I could get many if any clean reps at 315 after that previous workload.0

Normal people are not getting anywhere near that. Austin Malleolo had the highest male score in the 190s. He weights about 175 and has a 1RM DL of 575lbs.
The box jumps really aren't that bad in and of themselves. It's what they do to your deadlifts that kills you.0 -
Oh is that the results or is that the workout? I'm not familiar with crossfit so.....
What exactly is the 14.3 wod?0 -
113 reps, super bummed I didn't make it to 205# round, but still ok with my performance, still a bit sore0

Checking in late w/ my score for 14.3 = 90. (*got it logged-in on time*)
FYI - The coaches watched our form and made sure as the weights got heavier, we slowed down (one at a time) or stopped to avoid any injuries - maintaining FORM was key !!!
I am 100% satisfied with both my score and performance :-)0 -

What you posted above. Deadlifts and box jumps. Escalating weight and reps on the deadlifts then 15 box jumps in between sets. 8 minutes, as many reps as possible.
So was able to do 10 DL@135, 15 box jumps, 15DL@ 185, 15 box jumps, 20 DL @ 225, then six box jumps before the time cap.0 -

24" for men, 20" for women0 -
Hmm I wonder what I could do. but I'd have to have someone load the bar to the next weight each time. I'd also be slamming the crap out of the bar each rep lol.0

That's one of the tricks of the workout - you have to load your own bar! It's amazing how much energy that takes when the deadlifts get heavy!0 -

Oh really. I'm not a cross fitters so I don't know. I'd assume there were bars with certain weights all lined up or something! Hmm very curious now. I'd have to pick a dead time at the Y though. Like right before closing. So no one would get in my way and I can have the plates right there. Thanks!0
