Weekend

Wanted to check in and see how everyone's weekend was. Mine was nice and spent it with my family. Yesterday it rained all day and made for a sleepy day, but I have to say I kind of like those days. I have not been sleeping well for the past couple of weeks. I am not sure why and have been trying to pinpoint the cause. I think I am going to start doing some yoga before bed. It always relaxes me and shuts my mind off.

Let's make it a great week and remember to stay focused.

Mine was a good weekend. I had to go and get some stronger meds for this bronchitis I have been dealing with because it was starting to get worse again. Today feel tons better!! Spent some time with girlfriends one night with NO kids or husband, Saturday we went to watch my husband race, I think he has found a new hobby, and Sunday spent a leisure day at home and finished it off with dinner with some friends.

    Get better soon :flowerforyou:

I had a nice weekend as well. Nothing special, though. I'm going to Amsterdam tomorrow for 4 days because I have an exam there (I learned dutch the last 2 months and I'm having an exam that I need for studying there later).
I will not be posting because of that, by the way :indifferent:

Well and mostly I was studying. No sports at all :(
But I can't wait to get in some proper workouts when I get back again. Next week I'll start again (with sports), woho :drinker:

and I really hope the food will not mess me up :embarassed: I have no idea what to eat, I don't want to be strange around the people I go with (no friends, just two other people who did the course who neither know that I have an eating disorder nor that I'm watching my food intake in general). I'll try to both not go over-board and not to overeat, but also to try to relax and not to try to control it too much. Food may not play an important role in the next few days.
I can start again this weeken :glasses:

  • I had a nice weekend with my family. Went riding with my daughter before she left to go back to Gettysburg College. I love riding with her as it reminds me of when she was little and the many hours we spent at the barn. On Sunday I had a rare lazy day, did some clean cooking for the week. I managed in some light exercise with my younger daughter and her friend, took a walk near the gorge . Watched a couple of movies. Monday was rough getting back to work. Thanks for asking and forming this group.

You can do it. I have faith in you. Have fun while you are there and enjoy yourself. If you have a chance to take a walk then do so. That could be your exercise.

Sounds like you had a great weekend. It's all right to have a rest day and just let yourself relax. You did something productive with your horses and clean eating cooking so great job. What year is your daughter in college?
