"Eating clean" is the newest buzzword in the fitness and nutrition world. But what exactly is eating clean and why should you be doing it? Here is a great article to explain it all.

The down and dirty version is that eating clean means eating whole fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Avoiding processed foods (yes that includes ALL fast food and most takeout), artificial sweeteners and ingredients, and most pre-packaged and canned goods.

This way of eating is beneficial because it isn't a "diet", it's a way of eating everyday. It's also good because it can be a slow transition, it does not have to be an overnight switch.

Start with a few small changes (i.e. using real butter [in moderation!] instead of margarine, cutting out artificial sweeteners for unrefined ones). Small changes or switches every week or so can add up to big changes in the way you eat down the road.

There is no magic pill, or wrap, that will make you lose weight. BUT, eating clean, getting proper sleep and rest, exercising regularly, and drinking water, are the 4 steps that WILL change your body.
