I'll start with mine.
I have some great news to share too. About 5(?) years ago I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia, which is a symptom of pre-diabetes.
I struggled for years managing a high-protein/high-fiber snack every 4 or 5 hours to avoid the symptoms and regulate the blood sugar, while simultaneously not eating tons of food daily.
Of course I gained a lot of weight doing that.
Recently in a rather emotional decision I decided I would fast and if I fell over and passed out at work, well I'd have to live with the consequences of that whatever they might be.
I didn't, at all. I had no symptoms of the hypoglycemia at all. I was able to fast for 36 hours straight!
This is great news for me because I believe it means I've ditched my pre-diabetes symptoms through diet and exercise.
And now I can reap the huge benefits of intermittent and regular fasting again! It took 3 months short of two years of solid efforts toward health, so I'm quite proud that besides aesthetics and "feeling better" (which I do) I've finally reaped some solid medical reward for my efforts.
You've never seen a girl so happy to be able to fast again.

I aim for a 12-hour fast each day, which means I take in all my calories between 8 AM and 8 PM.
A longer fast (15/9) doesn't seem to affect my progress.
I don't feel hungry for 5 or 6 hours,0 -
I had to fast for my annual blood work. I stopped eating at 7:30 pm and had my lab appointment at 7:50 the next morning. I brought a snack for after in case I felt feint. I didn't. I felt hungry but not excessively so I decided to walk home 53 min walk) and have breakfast with my son. I came home and did my usual routine before and then made breakfast. I was finishing up eating at about 10:00!! I didn't have any symptoms either!! I haven't heard anything from the doctor's office so I am assuming that all tests are normal!!! Woo hoo!0
