Where is everyone here from? I'm in NH and just signed up for my first triathlon in Sept. I'm nervous and not even close to being ready but I figure I have plenty of time to train.

    I am kind of jealous of everyone in Texas. You must not have much of a problem when it comes to biking. I am not a swimmer or a runner (not yet anyway) but I do love riding my bike and it hasn't been that easy here in NH. I like to bike to work but I can't because the only way to get there is over an old bridge that is not maintained in the winter. I should be good to go soon though.

    You'd be surprised at what we consider too cold to get off the trainer and go ride. We're wusses here for the most part. LOL

    That is a very tight community and they go all out with everything they do so I knew when I went for my first that is the one I would do.

    It's been a long winter but I've already put about 100 miles on the bike. 45 yesterday and 55 last week when it was still less than 30 degrees outside.

    Less than 30 degrees is a little too cold for me. I am hoping to make it out sometime next week.
