Seated Abdudction?

Hi,
I will be doing Phase 1, Workout B of the advanced program tonight. I don't have a band at the gym to do the seated band abduction... Do you ladies think I can replace it with the abductor machine instead? Or just do the cable abduction like in workout A? What do you think?
Thanks!

I don't have the band either. I just chose one of the other abduction exercises shown in the back of the book. Can't remember which one as my book is at home and I am at work at the moment!0

The machine will be fine. I like the machine because it gives you a good stretch at the end of the set if you set the pins right. You could also alternate between using the machine and using the cable. The cable requires more core stability and balance with the nonactive leg. You will want to keep the weight a little lighter (than the abductor machine) though so that you can maintain proper form.0

Thanks ladies. I'll look into my book for a substitute. I have the Kindle version with me, which makes it harder to browse through the exercices. I'll just do the cable or machine tonight and pick something else next time.0
