New pic-- up against last year's bikini shot. I know the lighting is better on the right but I think even taking that into consideration I can see progress.

Your shoulders look amazing!! The rest does too, obvs, but I'm very jealous of those shoulders right now - nice work :)

Thanks! I used to never want to wear tank tops. I wish I had known that I had the genetics for good shoulders/traps.

BAH. Back down to 127 (the amount I weighed in on day 1.) So far my weekly averages have been exactly the same.

I'm supposed to stay at this calorie level for another week before I bump up. I'm thinking though that maybe I ought to be eating back my running calories, since the running is kind of hit or miss.

Just curious, for bulking especially, what was the theory in NOT eating back your running calories?

I'm doing TDEE method, so the idea was that they were already figured in. But running has been sporadic so I'm thinking it might be good to eat them back separately.

Ahhh gotcha. Yea if it's sporadic I agree, and if it becomes more stable increase your activity level.

Either way, I think an increase in cals is due.

    A) You look amazing!

    and

    B) I agree, if you are staying pretty stable then an increase sounds warranted.

Well, I'm sad to report that bulking is on hold. I've got some health issues, and I'm going to be having back surgery next week. So I'm switching over to maintenance for about 8 weeks while I recover. Hopefully at the end of 8 weeks I'll be back.

I'm so sorry to hear this!!! I think being is such good shape already one is able to recover more quickly. Wishing you the best!

Oh no! I hope you're able to recover quickly. I agree with Holly - being in such great shape already should hopefully be a plus for you and recovering. Good luck!
