*** Today's Tip: EXERCISE TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
Regular exercise can help control your blood pressure by making your
heart stronger. When your heart is stronger, it doesn't have to work
as hard to pump blood. Exercise can also help you manage your weight
and your stress level and both are good for your blood pressure. If
your blood pressure is already at a healthy level (less than 120/80 mm
Hg), exercise can help keep if from rising with age. It is always a
good idea to check with your doctor before starting an exercise
program, start slowly and stay with it.
