Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Bingeing

What do you do when you're feeling depressed? I binge. So annoyed with myself. I lost 2kg in my first week on here and was feeling pretty good, then screwed it all up yesterday by bingeing. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME) and am going through a rough patch with it - any physical activity leaves me with a high temperature and severe muscle pain EVERYWHERE! So taking my kids into town for a few hours wiped me out but I had to come home and do paperwork so munched my way through way too much food. It's definitely an emotional thing too - I get down about feeling so ill and frustrated that I can't workout so even if I lose weight I'm flabby and unfit. HELP! Any suggestions? I'm thinking of trying some yoga, just ten minutes every other day, do you think that would help?

I have a similiar problem. I was fairly sure I had ME but the Dr was convinced it was a depression because of my history. Lazy diagnosing if you ask me but oh well.
Anyway I won't say I don't binge any more, this week I've felt completely wiped out and that made me feel low mentally and this weekend I just binged on crap. But this is so rare for me lately and I will explain why.
I find things that are really tasty that are less damaging. I know you are never going to reach for carrots sticks instead of crisps but there are substitions. It's never healthy to binge on anything but if you can't control the urge then your next step is damage limitation.
If I feel like binging on sweets, I will eat a whole punnet of grapes, strawberries, satsumas -these are my choices, you will hopefully have similiar fruits that you could just devour a whole load of.
If I feel like icecream, there are some fat free yoghurts which are flavoured. You really shouldn't eat a whole 300g tub of it but this is why I do, I feel sick, ifeel like i shouldn't have - but it's way better than if it were Ben and Jerrys.
If I want to binge on pizza i make my own with pitta breads and just pile on whatever toppings I want .
If I fancy chips I make sweet potato frys in the air fryer and eat as many as I want.
The thing about all the foods above is that they aren't addictive, and aren't full of crap. So althoguh I might feel like i've eaten too much, maybe even feel a bit sick, i won't have that horrible crash you get after binging on crap food.
