*** Today's Tip: MORE FOOD, FEWER CALORIES
Is it possible to eat more food yet not gain weight? Yes! Choose
high-volume foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains
and legumes. These foods are lower in calories per portion size and
generally have more water and fiber than more energy dense foods such
as peanuts, dried fruit or refined grains (such as white bread, white
rice, cookies). Eating more high-volume foods allows you to enjoy
larger, more satisfying meals and lose weight without large increases
in hunger or deprivation.
