Recovering from Ankle

I've finally gotten to the point where I feel comfortable stepping up my activity on my ankle. I got to 15k step for the first time since the injury. I am really worried about re-injury so I have to go frustratingly slow but I'm pretty happy with the pace of recovery over all. If I had broken it I would be months away still. So.. Grateful. My Freethinkers group argue about the idea of gratitude. It's a pretty critical component to a happy and healthy attitude - IMO but to so many people it connotates gratitude TO and can't simply be gratitude FOR. I have no god or spirit or fortune to thank for my easy circumstances but I can recognize them and be grateful for them nonetheless. That gratitdue is a good motivator as well. It helps me feel responsible to help those whose circumstances aren't as privledged.
