Exercise and Hyperthroidism

My blood test showed that I likely have hyperthyroidism. I seem to have a lot of the symptoms namely being hot and I believe elevated heart rate. I know my blood pressure was higher than normal at my doctors visit (but still in normal range). I am so tired all the time as well. I lift weights and I have noticed lately it is harder. When googling it says it is dangerous to exercise while hyperthyroid. This seems ridiculous to me. I do not have muscle athrophy or unusual weight loss. Can i continue exercising until I get in with an endocrinologist?

That's a question for your doctor, not untrained strangers on the internet. :-)

I agree ask your doctor. I continued to workout and experienced heat stroke during a race which was very scary. I didn't know until after that I was hyper.

I saw my doctor and she said I could continue to exercise.
