I got the VSG, My appointment was at 7 am on Monday and I was in my recovery room by 11. I don't remember anything after they strapped me down. I was up an walking around and sipping on my water within 2 hours. I find it hard to drink anything cold at this point. The gas pains are gone for the most part. I was taking pain meds for the first 2 days but now I am trying to deal without them. I may use them to sleep at night. The exterior wounds do not hurt but I can feel soreness from my muscles. I can't stand sugar free jello right now so I'm sticking with crystal light, water and broth. Once my cold sensitive has stopped I may try some freeze pops.

    Congrats on this huge first step towards a healthy life! Sounds like you are actually doing pretty good! Have you been able to walk at all? It actually might help with the soreness.
