Happy Sunday everyone!
Plan today is to cardio cross train. It's my last day off before going back to work, so I will go to the gym but determine how long/hard I work out based on how feel once I get started. Still feeling pretty fatigued, and tomorrow promises to be a long first day back to work. I can't even imagine how many emails I have after being out of the office for 10 days, and with my vision still being blurry reading them all doesn't sound like much fun.0 -
^^Another great and true threadstarter.
Laura, good luck with getting back to work. Remember to get up and walk around after awhile--you can't catch up on it all at once anyway.
Today I ran to the gym and I got there SO fast! I was full of energy and was running with my new experimental form and Sunday traffic is really light. I did chest, shoulders, arms and then started to run back. I guess I thought I could keep the same pace *after* my workout as before--I was very wrong!! haha. I had to slow it down and take walk breaks (for a not-even-1.5mi run!! lol, guess the gym really took it out of me, plus it's downhill there but all uphill back). That's pretty much it. Soooooo happy to be back at it, even though I'm starting back slow (usually do a double workout on the weekend, but not quite ready for that yet).
Hope everyone is really enjoying your Sunday!0 -
Laura, hope your gym routine goes well. Also hope that tomorrow isn't too bad. Try to get a good night's sleep tonight.
Sherry, sounds like you are ending the week with a bang!
Marla, glad that things are going well with you too.
Quick run down of my weekend.
Friday: supposed to drive to a K9 nosework trial about 5 hours away. Due to a number of factors I didn't end up going (turned back home after an hour's drive there). Instead I got a bunch of chores done, including renewing my driver's license and getting my EZ Pass moved to my new credit card. It took hours as the Motor Vehicle Administration is not know for it's speed. They do try to do the best they can though. To make up to my dogs for the bad day, in their opinions, we went to a local park and they got to run loose in the dog park and then we took a 6 mile walk on the trails. I deliberately did not get on the computer or think about work/chores/friends/family/etc all day as I really wanted a vacation day.
Saturday: Woke up and ran 10k, went out to eat and pigged out with friends
Sunday: Had to go to a dog event in Virginia and helped people learn how to start doing nosework with their dogs. Mine were demo dogs. We also watched events and a friend groomed them some for me. I came home and did a short run (about 2.5 miles) and exercise session.0 -
Hello all, beautiful sunny spring day here, we drove 1/2 hr to Lake Wenatchee and had a picnic and walked about 2 1/2 miles.0
