Question - Dieting and Binging and Bodybuilding

Hey folks,
I had a thought the other night. I am currently cutting and trying to shed a lot of lbs... In total, I need about 55-60, but I've been relatively successful with 20 gone.
My calorie deficit is pretty much by the books with a sound amount of cardio to boot... But, I got HUNGRY the other day, and decided to binge. It happened to be on a day that I had done full body weight lifting session. It's too bad that I had this though afterwards, but alas... I did.
The Thought:
I think that if you need to binge a little... and you have the forsight to, this is how it should be done... I think that somebody that is going to binge should binge on protein after an insane workout. Clearly, you can binge too much. But, if you are going to, why not do it on a day that you know your muscles are working hard to rebuild? And... why not give them what they need? That way, all of those extra calories are going to something other then fat?
Would love to hear your thoughts btw. Thanks!

The whole concept of carb backloading is based on this concept. Work out hard, feed hard. Rest. Repeat. I do this and like it.0
