Hi all!
Today I walked to the gym and did most of a double workout of upper body & core (but saved butt to do with legs at my next workout). Then I had a protein shake and started walking. I thought I'd walk til the shake digested and then run, but it never happened. I just felt heavy like lead today, so I walked the whole way to the beach, vegged for 20min and then walked home. That's over 10miles total. DH kept the kids and did some grocery shopping in all that time. It was so nice to have a big ole chunk of time to myself.
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!0 -
Nice workout today, Sherry! And that's a really long walk.
I haven't gotten my workout in yet, but I will. This morning we had brunch to celebrate my great-niece's 1st birthday, then this afternoon we had a bridal shower for my other niece. I grabbed my gym back on the way out the door so I could stop at the gym on the way home, and made it as far as the parking lot. I was just so tired I couldn't bring myself to go in! Plus there were a lot of cars and I'm doing my cardio cross-train today so I prefer to go when it's not as busy. Made a quick stop at the store, went home, and napped for an hour. I swapped my long run & cross-train days because it was supposed to rain all day today and be nice tomorrow. My family always goes to the 8:00 church service on Easter, then we'll have our family dinner around noon, so mid afternoon I'll get out for my long run. I'd like to fit it in between church & lunch, but it takes me a very long time to run 9 miles and I don't think I'll have time to drive home, get in my run, clean up, and drive back to my niece's house.0 -
Good plan Laura, especially shifting around for weather. I find myself doing that often.0

A day late, but wanted to get it in. On Saturday, I drove three hours north into the Pocono Mountains for a nosework test. I spent the day walking up and down hills off and on while taking the test with Fells. I tried to do some running, but we were basically on the side of a mountain, hard going up, and scary going down. Here, on our fourth try, Fells and I finally qualified! So now both my dogs have their NW2 titles and we're looking at the highest and hardest title of NW3. We're no where near ready yet for that!0
