More filling breakfast ideas

I have been making a point of eating breakfast, usually oatmeal with yogurt, yogurt with granola, or cereal with fruit. I find I am hungry in a very short time. This morning I tried a boiled egg with a slice of multigrain bread and yogurt and am still hungry in just a couple hours. It seems if I'm hungry right away, I feel hungry all day long which is making it difficult to stay within my calorie allotment. Any suggestions?

I find I need a lot of protein at breakfast. I mix non-fat plain greek yoghurt with 1 scoop flavored protein powder to get about 44g of protein for about 220 calories. I usually mix in fruit and something for crunch. That lasts me from breakfast until lunch.0

Protein typically helps us feel more satisfied for a longer period of time and scubasuenc gave you some good ideas. I know people who've had good success with plain oatmeal mixed with one tablespoon of peanut butter, or an omelet with lots of veggies and a slice of whole grain toast. Keep experimenting and you'll find what works for you. ~Lynn /Glucerna0

I generally eat my breakfast at work. I can't stomach food any earlier, lol. I have recently added a hardboiled egg, and it really helps.0

You are having quite a few carbs and not enough protein and healthy fats, which is what keeps you feeling full longer. You could add eggs, veggies, peanut butter, cheese, greek yogurt, nuts, whole grain bread, avocado, even bacon or sausage etc. it really takes some trial and error to find what works.0
