PMS Water Weight

I've been staying within my goal but aunt flow is coming in a few days and I notice a lot of bloating/couple pounds of water weight gain. It's discouraging since you see the scale numbers go up instead of down even when you've been good. Perhaps I shouldn't even look at the scale for a week and a half til it's all done with!

Haha, yeah I agree. It really is discouraging and staying off the scale until you're almost done is a great idea. I tend to avoid it as well a few days before and during.0

I have the same issue by about 3 lbs or so. I just wait until shark week passes and enjoy when I step on the scale and have a "whoosh" moment.0

Oh, for those who don't know what the "whoosh" is, see this thread(it's one of many, but it's the most relevant to monthly bloat):

I'm always up 3-4 lbs and it is super discouraging. I'm trying to stay off the scale during that time of the month.0
