I am a little confused because of all the information, however, i believe i should be eating 1000 calories, 70 grams of protein. I have set up mfp to track the calories and protein. Wondering if that sounds correct?

So the minimum calories is 1000 - apart from your eat up days. How many calories is that? Mine is 2080.
You can eat more than 1000 a day but they say the weight loss will be slower.

I eat between 1000 and 1200 on my low days. Usually around 1200. My higher days (maintenance) is 1680. I do just fine on that. The loss is slow but steady for the most part with some crazy things happening in between!! Don't forget the high days (eat up) they are important to keep your metabolism on its toes!!0
