^haha, good one for me today. My shoulders have been sore for two days now, from my workout Thursday--which wasn't even a shoulder workout! (But I did heavy lat pull down which ended up using the shoulders--I need to strengthen my biceps and shoulders enough to allow me to do heavier lat pull down for my back)
Anyway, because of being sore, getting nearly no sleep last night  , and forecast rain, I was just going to veg at home (& hopefully nap), but then the sun peeked out and I'm rethinking. My scheduled workout would be upper body and would heavily involve shoulders and I just don't know if they're ready yet. Will just have to see what happens. Will check in later.
Hope everyone's having a great day!0 -
Ended up a rest day. But instead of ME getting a nap, DH disappeared and took a long nap, leaving me with the kids. :grumble:
Hope everyone is having a great (melted and snow-free) weekend!
Marla, hope you are feeling better.0 -
Our local weather guy is now calling it the Zombie Winter because it refuses to die -- now we're looking at snow/sleet/ice Sunday through Tuesday. I give up.
I ran 11 miles today, which is a new long distance for me. It was physically fairly awful. Someday I hope to enjoy running again. That day is not today.
Sorry about your nap Sherry!0 -
Sorry that you missed your nap today, Sherry. Other things caused problems so I wasn't able to get out long enough to do my long run yesterday. I did get 3.67 miles in yesterday and slightly less then 4 miles today, so I'm calling it 7 to 7.5 miles. So with a similar sort of run tomorrow morning, I'll get in all the miles I wanted to run this week.
Next week will have less running as I need to set up for our flyball tournament on Friday and then run the tournament on Saturday and Sunday, as I'm named as the tournament director. It'll be good to have a scheduled scale down week. Then I'll go for 20+ miles the following week.0
