    Hi all!!

More errands to do today that I think I'll do on my run. If there's time, I might hit the gym, if not, just errands and running.

    Readya later!

Did RI 30 last night. I don't know if it's this god-awful weather that we've been having, or what but I've been feeling pretty sluggish the last couple days. I missed my workout on Sunday and Monday, and I think that may have something to do with it. I did feel a bit better after my workout last night. I'm hoping that I can get to bed early tonight and get a good nights sleep and that will shake off whatever is going on.

This weather is sucking the life out of me. Too many days of gray skies with a combination of rain / wintry mix / snow. Its supposed to be nice Sunday and Monday, if I can hold out that long. Tentatively the forecast for tomorrow after my trainer workout is dry (but cloudy) so I'm hoping I can get outside for my run anyway.

    Tonight just a trainer workout.

    Hey all!

Hope you can shake the funk Diana. Sometimes you just have to dig deep and workout anyway, maybe get outside for an energizing walk.

Laura, you know how I feel about your weather funk--I especially hope you shake it soon, because C'MON, y'know! I just feel so bad for you. You have got some strong constitution to have made it this far, because I think I'd be in such a deep SAD state that I dunno what I'd do.

Okay, interesting day. I didn't get all my errands run, but got some running, lots of walking, leg workout at the gym, more running, lots more walking, little more running (that time it was to try to make it to the pet store before it closed), oh, and saved a lost/abandoned baby kitten! VERY interesting (and LONG) day. I don't even know when I'll have time to sort out what I've eaten and actually log it (which I usually do religiously), but for right now the kitten is sleeping so thought I'd drop in here for a report, before my wild children wake the poor thing up again. haha Tomorrow is May 1st holiday and idk what we'll do. Traditional to go pick wild flowers. I'd like to go for a nice long run to the beach. But with a baby kitten in the house, idk what we'll actually do unless we "crate" her in one of the cat carriers. We don't think our older cat will try to hurt her, but can't know for sure. What a day!!!

Have a good one all! Say adios to April, May is on it's way!

Oh, Laura, it was heartbreaking. There are so many cats and kittens in Greece, but they often live together and people take care of the entire "colony". But this little tiny thing was all alone and crying so much. It was safe in a garden with a small wall that kept it safe, but it was too little to be alone. We talked to a lady in the building and she hadn't seen a mother. From the time we first passed around 2:30, til I passed for my run 10min later, til I returned from the gym around 4:15 and til my son & I passed again, it was still there crying and no mama. We walked to the local cat lady (who goes around feeding the local cats) and she's upto her eyeballs in cats and can't handle a kitten. So we walked to the store to get whatever supplies we could (the local pet store was closed in that neighborhood). I felt so hopeless with nothing but a can of milk and a tin of cat food, knowing it was too little for all that. Just then, my husband called and had miraculously shookoff his previously grumpy mood and told me we could bring it home. So we walked around looking for a box and hailed a cab. Then after we got home, me and my son went to the pet store: closed. ugh. My watch said 6pm and so we RAN to the far pet store and made it there AND there was this awesome girl there buying cat & dog food who told us exactly what to do about the kitten milk and where to get eyedrops and everything. So, yeah I got alot of walking in today. And DH is very happy. He's a tenderheart for cats and kittens, but was grumpy and hangry when we spoke on the phone. Thank goodness he had a bite to eat and called us back with a change of heart.
