    Hello all you runners!!

    this trip with myself lol has been lots of fun but busy and little internet except phone and harder to get on here since it's so tiny. the app doesn't have community just posting food.

    I have been doing long walks daily at Portland, a bunch of different Oregon coast beaches, and did a nia class in Portland.

    today I am headed down through more coast. rain is predicted but I brought hats and umbrella to walk in the rain!

    For some reason this thread was locked, so I unlocked it.

    Donna I saw in our Bridge to 10K group that you ran a crazy number of miles in April. Congrats!

    My workout is up in the air today. I'm going to run either today or tomorrow, and will probably cross-train the other day although I might just get in a walk outside since instead of the gym since it looks like we might have good weather this weekend. I do have a baby shower to go to today, so depending on how I feel this afternoon I might run, or I might put it off until tomorrow when I don't have anything else going on. They were saying possible rain this morning with clearing later, but the sun is shining already (it's 8:30 am) so I hope it stays out!

    My run this weekend is totally up to me. I've been feeling really stressed about running, and most of my runs since my surgery haven't been great ones, so Jason told me to run whatever feels good to me today. If I'm a few miles in and the run still sucks, I can quit. If it feels good, I can run long. If I want to do hills, I can. If I want to do run/walk intervals, I can. If I want to do a HR run (where I go slow enough that my HR doesn't get over a much lower rate than where it usually is), I can do that too.

    Hey all. Good to hear from Marla, have fun!


    I entered t.o.m. hell today and am just going to go slink back into my snoozy yucky hormonal headachy funk. So there won't be a workout today. Hoping if I pay the piper today that I might feel better tomorrow.

    Hope it's a good day for everyone else. :)
