I was playing around with the SBD iPhone app and see they added a barcode scanner. I've never really used the app, other than the handy "foods to enjoy" lists for each phase. But this is good to see.

    I just downloaded this.

    It's free! Yay.
    It's cumbersome! Nay
I can turn off calorie count! Yay
It weighs in ounces! Nay but I can convert.
It has American foods mainly (Aussie here) but if I stuck with what I want to get back to instead of chips and ginger biscuits for phase 1 I'd be ok :)

Just read book this weekend. Very similar to choices I made when I first started losing. I'm wondering now what I read that got me there because it wasn't SBD.

Don't plan using app forever. Just playing around.

    Nice group Sabine.

Fun you say that, I lost weight the first time by basically doing SB, but having never read it either. I guess it was around the time SB was gaining popularity (but before the book came out) and I was hearing things that resonated with me.

I love that THAT app allows you to turn off calories.
